Self and partner

Hello, and thanks for visiting my site, and more specifically, this page.

My name is Jean, and I’m also known online as Snakesmum.
Now of course, you’ll want to know why that is, right?

Because I like snakes, and among my pets, are three Stimson’s
pythons, and a Bredl’s python.

My home is also shared with seven goldfish, two chickens, and
a very spoiled cat, who thinks she is the boss. Sometimes I’m
sure she is! As you can see, she likes to be comfortable,
while watching me work. Here’s a pic. of her in the shed, making
the roll of old carpet her bed.

Although I’m retired, there’s not a lot of spare time, with all the
pets, and the front and back gardens to be kept in order. I have
to admit to letting it get a bit untidy at times!

My partner lives miles away on the other side of the city, so
quite often I’m here alone. Suits me fine, as I value time to
do my own thing, and it makes it all the better when we DO
see each other.

Currently, I’m working with online marketing, more as a hobby
than anything else, although it would be great to actually start
making more than a few dollars at it.   I guess I’m luckier than
many, in that I have actually made something, however small.

Anyway, enough about me – enjoy the rest of the site, and
do come back again. I’ll try to keep adding posts and updating
what’s happening in the garden!

Update on the pets:   We no longer have the chickens – they met
with an awful fate, poor things……..
