It seems I just can’t help myself – this morning at the market, I just
had to purchase another plant!

This time, it was a pot of mixed calla lillies that caught my eye, and
I thought they’d be ideal in an empty spot from which we’d moved
the azaleas.

There are mango and yellow varieties, and since they are reported to be
ideal for hot, sunny spots, they were just what I was looking for.

Of course, it’s not ideal planting weather, since we’re in the middle of a
hot and dry spell, and are expecting 41C tomorrow, but hopefully the
lillies will survive.   We certainly gave them a good watering in!
